Mounting the Right Wing - Part 2

Details

As I still have 3 bolts to install since last work session, I decided to finish installing the bolts.

This time I tried dry ice.

I bought 4 lbs of dry ice from Safeway. I first greased each bolt and put them in individual ziploc bags. Then I put each bolt on the dry ice for 3-5 minutes.

I iced each bolt just a few minutes before I need them to avoid exposing them to the dry ice for too long. I don’t want the bolts to be shocked by the low temp.

Even though it’s only a few minutes, I feel like they are easier to hammer.

In any case, I repeated the process for other bolts: hammer, tap, pull with nut. The last 3 bolts were installed in slightly under 2 hours.
