Details
Torque
The AN7 bolts are torqued to 55 nm. The AN5 bolt is torqued to 18 nm.
Besides requiring a huge torque value, the AN7 bolts were not difficult to torque except the one close to the fuselage skin corner. For that one I used a crow foot.
Wing Walk Strips
The wing walk strips are not a core item to install. But since it’s so easy to install, and I want to add some protection to the wing, I decided to install it anyway.
First I just dry fitted the strips. Then I used acetone and 99% alcohol to clean the areas, then just put the strip on.
OAT and Wing Connector
The harness on this wing has a prebuilt place to plug in the OAT connector.
I first tested the OAT with wiring, then drilled a small hole on the wing to accept the OAT sensor, then tightened the OAT probe through the hole.
Flap
Installing the flap requires installing 3 AN4-7 bolts with 4 thin washers. It’s a little bulky and took some time, but overall it’s not difficult to install.
