Setting the throttle idle

TLDR

Details

The other thing I did today was adjusting the throttle idle to 1800 RPM.

I first did about 10 minutes of taxiing around to warm up the engine, then shut it down back at the hangar.

Before shutting down, I lowered the RPM to 1800 RPM and made sure the throttle stay at that exact position throughout the adjustment.

On the egine where the throttle cable is attached, there are several screws to control the moving range of the throttle opening. I followed the installation manual and adjusted #2 on the picture so it just barely touches the throttle assembly. This will ensure the throttle level in the cockpit can only lower to the position I currently have (180 RPM w/ warm engine). For what it’s worth, the throttle percentage reading on the G3X is 34% at this point.
